    GH3030

    一、GH3030 Summary

     

       GH3030 is an early developed 80Ni-20Cr solid solution strengthening superalloy with simple chemical composition, satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 800 C, and good oxidation resistance, thermal fatigue, cold stamping and welding process performance. The alloy is single phase austenite after solid solution treatment, and its structure is stable during use. The main products are cold-rolled sheet, but also can supply bar, ring, wire and pipe deformation products. It is mainly used for turbine engine combustor components working below 800 C and other high temperature components which require oxidation resistance but bear little load below 1100 [1,2].

       Note: 1. The bar and ring billet standards stipulate that_(Cu) is less than 0.20%.
    2. The standards of cold-drawn wire for hot-rolled plate, cold-rolled plate, cold-rolled strip, pipe, wire and cold heading stipulate that_(Fe)= 1.00%, _(P)= 0.015%, _(S)= 0.010%, _(Pb)= 0.001%, _(Cu)= 0.007%.
    The solution temperature of 1.5 GH3030 heat treatment system is 980-1020 C. The cooling mode is air-cooled for hot-rolled plate, cold-rolled thin plate and ring billet. The wire and cold-drawn bar for cold heading are water-cooled or air-cooled, and the pipe is water-cooled.
    1.6 GH3030 variety specifications and supply status can produce deformed products of various specifications, bars and ring billets are delivered without heat treatment; hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheets and pipes are supplied after solid solution and pickling; welding wires are delivered in cold drawing, solid solution and pickling or semi-hard disc-like state; cold heading wires are formed in solid solution and pickling state. Delivery in disc or straight strip, solid solution straight strip polishing or cold drawing state; delivery in solid solution and pickling state of pipes; delivery in annealing, annealing plus pickling, annealing plus polishing or cold drawing state of cold drawing rods.
    1.7 GH3030 Melting and Casting Process Arc Furnace Melting or Arc Furnace Melting with Electroslag Remelting or Vacuum Arc Remelting, Non-vacuum Induction Furnace with Electroslag Remelting or Vacuum Arc Furnace Remelting or Vacuum Duplex Process.
    1.8 GH3030 has been used in Aeroengine for a long time. It is mainly used for parts of combustion chamber and intensified combustion chamber, as well as parts of casing mounting edge.

     

     

    II. Physical and Chemical Properties of GH3030
    Thermal properties of 2.1 GH3030
    The melting temperature of 2.1.1 GH3030 ranges from 1374 to 1420 C [3].
    The thermal conductivity of 2.1.2 GH3030 is shown in Table 2-1.
    The specific heat capacity of 2.1.3 GH3030 is shown in Table 2-2.
    The linear expansion coefficient of 2.1.4 GH3030 is shown in Table 2-3.

    Chemical Properties of 2.5 GH3030

    4.1 Phase Transition Temperature
    4.2 Time-temperature-structure transition curve
    The structure of 4.3 alloy is single phase austenite after solution treatment at 1000 C, with a small amount of TiC and Ti (CN). Cr7C3 carbide precipitates after long-term aging at 700-800 C with little precipitation, which has little effect on the properties of the alloy.
    5. Technological Performance and Requirements of GH3030
    5.1 Formability
    5.1.1 Ingot forging start-up charging temperature is not higher than 800 C, heating temperature is 1180-1200 C, final forging temperature is not lower than 900 C, deformation degree of one heating is 50%, plate hot rolling heating temperature is 1160-1180 C, cold rolling rate is about 30%.

      (1) The thickness of sheet metal (mm) is delta.
    5.2 The welding performance of the alloy is excellent. It can be used for argon arc welding, spot welding, seam welding and brazing. The weld pool fluidity and formability are good in TIG welding, and the crack tendency is small. The contact welding has a wide range of specification parameters. The alloy can be welded with 1Cr18Ni9Ti, GH1140, GH3039, GH3044 and GH3128 alloys.
